Our client a medical institution, has hired Vivo to assist in its search for a Mobile Web Developer. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creation of mobile and web-based applications using the latest mobile and enterprise internet technologies from initial design and architecture through development, test, and deployment. This position is a technical leader for mobile and web technologies and is responsible for providing guidance to leadership on best use of latest mobile and web technologies.
Requirements:
Real world mobile development experience
Passion for mobile development
Four-year college degree.
Minimum of five years related experience required.
Expert-level understanding of web-based technologies, mobile development, web design, production, and site/infrastructure management in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Good understanding of web usability best practices, theory and user-behavior.
Ability to synthesize user, technical and design requirements into highly usable web sites and applications.
Good understanding of object-oriented design, with focus on front-end client side scripting.
Solid understanding of browser compatibility issues.
Strong ability and desire to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
Experience working on a team using rapid development software design methodologies
Expert-level knowledge of Dreamweaver, Fireworks or Photoshop.
Basic-level knowledge of Illustrator and Flash.
Demonstrated ability to independently implement and maintain Web 2.0 technologies.
Expert-level knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON, AJAX and mobile web required.
Strong familiarity with HTML5, Flash, ActionScript, DOM, PhP and Video highly desirable.
Experience working in an environment that includes a variety of middle-ware and backend web technologies such as Java, JSTL, Tomcat, Oracle, PHP, UNIX, SQL, Perl, LDAP, HTTP a plus.
Familiarity with integration technologies like Web Services/.NET.
