iPhone OS 3.0
With the iPhone 3.0 event behind us we are now left to wait drooling over what is to come. From the new subscription pricing models to the new sdk to copy and paste, iPhone OS 3.0 offers a lot. These new details lead me to speculate on possible future apps and scenarios that I think are particularly exciting.
- With the new in-app purchases, it should be possible to offer demo versions of an app. No more taking a risk on a paid app, or downloading multiple versions (lite vs pro). Download a game play it for the first level and purchase the rest + more if you digg it! I wonder if it’s possible to do date based demos such as 15 day trials.
- With in-app voice message utilizing voip, it seems like it’s possible to develop a native Skype app!
Just a few things I was thinking about. I know it’s still pretty early, but is anyone able to confirm the feasibility of these ideas?
